Efficient Charging Anytime, Anywhere
Whether you’re charging your battery at home or outdoors, this charger will do the job in no time with up to 94% efficiency rate. It also generates up to four times less heat for safety, and once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to five or even 10 times better than the industry standard.
Adaptive 6-Stage Charge Algorithm
The Victron Smart charger features a 6-stage algorithm: test - bulk – absorption - recondition – float – storage. It also has a microprocessor-controlled ‘adaptive’ battery management, which allows for an optimised charging process in accordance to the way the battery is being used.
Storage Mode
In the storage mode, float voltage is reduced to 2,2V/cell (13,2V for a 12V battery) to minimise gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to ‘equalise’ the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulfation, a major cause of early battery failure.
Night and Low Setting
Enjoy peaceful and effective charging even in the evening with Victron’s Night and Low setting. In this mode, the output current is reduced to max. 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates without any noise. The Night mode automatically ends after 8 hours, while the Low mode can be ended manually.
Overheat Protection
Overheating is one of the common culprits of battery failure. Thanks to Victron’s overheat protection feature, the output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 50°C during charging, without compromising the performance of the charger itself.

IMPORTANT: While our LiFePO4 batteries are top-notch & can be wired with other batteries of its kind, it is not advisable to connect any LiFePO4 batteries in parallel or series. This poses several risks and should only be done in emergency situations. If you must wire batteries together, make sure you are familiar with the correct procedure or seek help from a professional if needed.
Suggestions From the Outbax Team
- Batteries connected in series should have the same amp-hour rating while batteries in parallel bank should have the same voltage rating.
- As much as possible, only connect batteries in series or parallel during emergency situations.
- It's better to go for batteries with higher voltage when running high-power electrical appliances instead of wiring two battery packs together.
- We have available batteries with larger discharge parameters for fast charge/discharge requirements.
- Our batteries are also available in 200Ah and 300Ah for larger capacity demands.
