1. Oil and fuel are the correct grades required. 1. Ensure all servicing has been completed, as instructed in the user manual. 2. Ensure the fuel hoses are connected snugly and not leaking, kinked or broken. 3. All filters are clean. 4. Ensure the fuel cap valve is not blocked, try unscrewing the cap loose while running to temporarily allow more air in.

Can I use this generator in a National Park?

Generally, generators below 65dB are allowed in parks as they are considered quiet generators. Our Gentrax unit has a noise level of 58dB at 7m, which is similar to the sound of a low TV volume. However, it's still best to check with the relevant agency managing the national parks that you want to visit in case of additional requirements.

How do I charge a battery with this generator?

This generator comes with a 12V charging cable that the customer can use to charge a 12V battery.

Does this generator fit most RV's slide-out tray or storage box?

Gentrax generators are designed to be portable and compact, so they should fit in most RV's slide-out trays or storage boxes. However, it's always a good idea to check the dimensions and specifications of both the generator and your RV's storage space to ensure a proper fit.

Is it normal for my generator to rev up & down?

The generator can rev up and down during the initial run-in period and that's normal. You just need to have the product run-in and it should start to run smoothly. Generally, it takes around 6 tanks of fuel over a period of 3 months to have the machine completely run-in. Please ensure the servicing is also followed as that will be imperative for the run-in process.
